The NITRO II systems represents a new technology based on MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) with spatial diversity - to strongly improve system throughput and NLOS with building penetration. In test environment we have seen throughput that exceeds the Ethernet capacity:

In real life deployments we have seen the NITRO II deliver the same throughput on 5MHz channel width, as the legacy 802.11a does on a 20MHz channel. This makes the NITRO II ideal for high capacity point to point and point to multi-point applications - also when the spectrum is getting crowded.

In production environment, we have also seen significantly improved NLOS (Non-Line of Sight) and impressive building penetration.In some cases indoor CPEs were able to connect to Base Station up to 1.5km away - still with good performance:

Subscriber unit - CPE (CPT-)

The WITELCOM CPE family consists of a wide variety of complete 5GHz Subscriber Unit solutions with integrated antenna and a high quality mounting kit. The embedded solutions allows for very easy installation, with only a network cable between the radio unit and the indoor PC or network. The professional installation kit provides easy installation on both poles and walls.

Bridge Units (BST-)

Bridge family consists of cost effective Bridge Units for up to 100 Mbps full duplex real throughput in the 5 GHz UNII/ISM band.

Base stations and Point to point (PtP) radios (APT-)

The WITELCOM base stations and point to point radios are complete “High End” access point solutions with integrated antenna and a high quality mounting kit. These are Carrier Class AP Units for up to 100 Mbps real throughput in the 5 GHz band and up to 80 kilometers distance.  These embedded solutions allows for very easy installation, with only a network cable between the radio unit and the access network. The professional installation kit provides easy installation on both poles and walls.

Wise Rims - Radius ISP Management Software

WISE Radius & ISP Management Server is a top level ISP subscriber control system designed to work together with all WITELCOM’s radio (and most others) and access gateway systems, and provide a comprehensive manageability for larger ISP operations. In the ISP network structure, the WISE-RIMS makes up the top-level for user authentication and management, project planning, CRM and public information flow.

WITELCOM WIMAX 802.16d-2004

WITELCOM offers 3.5 "STRIX" WiMAX Base Stations and Subscriber Units for the 802.16d-2004 OFDM standard. The STRIX WiMAX is based on same rugged enclosure and antenna systems as the legendary Dragon family. It allows very simple setup and are fully compatible with the RIMS back office management systems.
